Grinding
Glass grinding is a process that removes unevenness and sharpness from the edges of a piece. It involves carefully finishing the edges, which not only creates an aesthetic effect but also ensures safety during direct contact with the glass.
Polishing
Polishing is a glass processing process that aims to achieve the desired smoothness and gloss of the surface of a polished object, most often made of metal, glass and plastic.
Chamfering
Beveling breaks the glass surface, creating a unique and eye-catching visual effect. Beveling glass is an interesting and effective form of decoration, giving glass elements a very elegant and stylish appearance.
Sandblasting
Sandblasting is a mechanical process of dulling glass using a high-pressure sand jet. The abrasive sand removes the top layer of glass, leaving a visible dull effect.
Drilling
Drilling holes in the glass is done using two drills.
The lower drill performs the drilling process automatically.
The operation of the top drill can be adjusted manually by the worker using a lever or automatically by means of
pneumatic cylinder with hydraulic brake.

UV printing on glass
We offer top-quality flatbed UV printing using modern and advanced technological solutions. We offer you the option of using our extensive photo library or sending your own graphics, which we will then apply to the glass. Glass decorated with UV printing is becoming increasingly popular in construction and interior design. SZKŁOMAL has completed numerous projects where our printed glass was used in structures such as:

Glass tempering
Glass tempering involves heating the glass to a temperature of approximately 620–680°C and then immediately cooling it with a stream of cold, compressed air. This process increases the glass's strength. This makes tempered glass safer because, when broken, it fragments into small pieces. The maximum dimensions we can temper are 3600 x 2440 mm, and the minimum is 250 x 250 mm.
The thickness of the tempered glass we produce is: 3mm – 15mm.

CNC glass processing
CNC machining centers are used for comprehensive glass processing.
The basic operations are:
– cutting out shapes and making irregular forms
– edge grinding
– drilling holes
– making large cutouts and internal holes, also of irregular shapes.
The advantages of glass processed at these stations include high precision, guaranteed shape repeatability during mass production, and aesthetically pleasing finishes. These centers are capable of producing large-sized pieces, both in single quantities and large batches, as well as series of small pieces.
Designs are implemented on a CNC machining center using files with designed shapes in various CAD programs.
Waterjet
Szkłomal offers a waterjet cutting service.
Using WaterJet technology, the cutting surface is smooth, free of burrs and chips, so it does not require any additional processing.
Moreover, the edge of glass cut with water also becomes matte, making it suitable for gluing immediately after cutting. WaterJet technology allows for cutting any shape, even the most imaginative.
A wide range of glass types can be cut with water.
Stained glass windows
Stained glass is an elegant and very effective glass decoration.
By penetrating and dispersing light through colorful elements, stained glass windows give the room a unique atmosphere.
They are an interesting use of free space.
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, they are resistant to various weather conditions, including rain, low and high temperatures, making them suitable for windows, conservatories, and elegant and representative entrance doors.
Stained glass can be used in both modern and traditional interiors. Due to its versatility, it adorns furniture fronts, doors, windows, and skylights.
Each stained glass window can be used for unusual glass sizes – from large window surfaces to tiny furniture panes.
Glass lamination
Glass lamination involves gluing two or more panes of glass together in a vacuum using a special foil at temperatures above 100⁰C. This makes the glass more mechanically durable. If shattered, the shards do not scatter.
At the same time, such glass, by placing any print between two panes, plays a decorative role.
This type of glass is becoming more and more popular and is used as glass to replace kitchen tiles, interior doors, and glass tables and benches.
The maximum size of the format we can laminate is: 2800×1500 mm.

Curved tempered glass
The curved glass offered by Szkłomal is manufactured using a tempering process. After heating the glass to a temperature close to its softening point, the glass is formed into the desired shape, followed by rapid cooling, which is then tempered. The bending process imparts a new functional and aesthetic quality to the glass.
Screen printing
The screen printing process involves applying enamel or paint to smooth glass and permanently embedding it during the glass tempering process or curing the previously applied paint using UV rays in a special tunnel.
As a result, we obtain a safety glass product in any color or design. This technology allows us to achieve unique effects and meet the diverse needs of our customers.
